I'm Scott, the person behind The Real Handyman. For more than 25 years I've handled repairs, maintenance, carpentry, installations and improvement projects around the house, the kind of work where knowing who's coming through your door matters as much as the work itself.

Simple, Fair Pricing
Work is billed by time, not a fixed-price quote. A straightforward hourly rate with a 1-hour minimum, then 30-minute increments after that.
Monday–Friday, GST included.
Saturday & Sunday, GST included.
After the first hour, work is billed in 30-minute increments.
- MaterialsYou're only charged for the time it takes to pick them up. All materials and receipts are shown to you, with no additional charge on materials.
- PaymentDue on completion. Cheque is preferred, and cash is the only other payment accepted. A detailed invoice is available on request.
- RecyclingI always work with customers to make sure recycled materials end up where they belong.
